Patriarch John I (d. 775) and fourteen bishops graduated from it. In Dolabani's translation of Barsoum's description ܘܐܰܪܒܰܥܣܰܪ should read ܘܰܐܪܒܰܥܣܰܪ. In Barsoum's description اياونيس should read ايوانيس.
