                    ܥܠ ܒܝܬ ܠܚܡ ܥܒܪ ܗܘܝܬ ܘܩܠܗܿ ܕܡܪܝܡ ܫܡܥ ܗܘܝܬ ܘܩܠ ܢܘܨܪ̈ܬܗܿ ܢܦܠ ܒܐܕܢ̈ܝ.
                
                
                    Je passais par Behtléem et j’ai entendu la voix de Marie et la voix de son chuchotement et tombée dans mes oreilles.
                
                
                    ܡܘܕܝܐ ܐܢܐ ܕܐܝܬܟ ܡܪܐ ܘܐܠܗܐ ܐܢܬ ܒܫܪܪܐ ܘܫܡܟ ܡܬܩܪܐ ܕܘܡܪܐ ܐܠܦ ܠܝ ܕܠܐ ܝܕܥܐ ܐܢܐ.
                
                
                    Je confesse que tu es Seigneur et que tu es Dieu en vérité et ton nom s’appelle prodige; enseigne-moi car je suis ignorant.
