                    ܣܐܘܝܪܐ ܗܘ ܛܒܝܒܐ̣. ܦܝܣܝܕܝܐ ܡܢ ܐܝܬܘܗܝ ܗܘܐ ܒܓܢܣܐ. ܡܕܝܢܬܐ ܕܝܢ ܕܗܢܐ̣. ܣܘܙܘܦܘܠܝܣ. ܗܕܐ ܓܝܪ ܡܛܬܗ ܒܬܪ ܗܝ ܩܕܡܝܬܐ̣. ܕܡܢܗ ܟܠܢ ܡܛܠ ܡܬܥܒܪܢܘܬܗ ܕܐܕܡ ܢܦܠܢܢ.
                
                
                    Sévère était de race pisidienne; sa ville était Sozopolis. Celle-ci en, en effet, lui échut après la première dont nous sommes tous tombés après la transgression d’Adam.
