Addai - ܐܕܝ

Addai (Aday) was one of the 72 apostles commissioned by Jesus to be a missionary. Aday was ordained by Addai to travel to Edessa, and he cured King Abgar's foot. The conversion of Edessa was attributed to his missionary activity and described in the Teaching of Addai.
