Sergius - ܣܪܓܝܣ

Sergius was one of the most popular saints of the Orient. He was a Roman soldier martyred shortly after his friend Bacchus since he refused to sacrifice to the Roman gods. Sergius was decapitated at Resafa on the Euphrates.
