Shenoute of Atripe - [ Syriac Not Available ]

In hagiography: Shenoute of Atripe was a miaphysite Egyptian monk and a superior of the White Monastery. He enforced a strict interpretation of the rule of Pachomius. He often left his monastery to fight pagans and heretics. There was a Syriac version of his life.
