Sophia - ܣܘܦܝܐ

The widow Sophia and her daughter Euphemia quarter a Goth in the Roman army in Edessa. The Goth forces Sophia to give Euphemia to him in marriage, but he then enslaves her. The intercession of Sts. Shmona, Guria, and Habib saves Euphemia and returns her to Edessa. 1
