“Antipatra was a high-ranking lady and mother-in-law of the honorary consul John. A victim of the miaphysite persecution, she was forced to perform menial tasks in a monastery until she pretended to accept the Chalcedonian communion, as is narrated in Joh. Eph., EH 2.12.” 3
