Athanasius - ܐܬܢܣܝܘܣ

Athanasius was a grandson of the empress Theodora. A follower of the influential miaphysite theologian John Philoponus, Athanasius was a tritheist and belonged to that part of the sect which taught that new bodies would be created for mankind at the last judgement, as is attested in Joh. Eph., EH 5.1.3
