Sergius Amphiator - ܣܪܓܝܣ ܐܢܦܝܛܘܪ

http://syriaca.org/person/5149
Joh. Eph., EH 4.41, recounts how Damian of Alexandria attempted to ordain a new miaphysite patriarch in Antioch in early 580. In this project, which ultimately failed, a certain Sergius was one of his assistants. It is likely that Damian ordained this Sergius bishop a little later in Constantinople.2
