“Theodore was notary of Anatolius, governor of the Osrhoene. Under torture, he confessed that Anatolius had participated in the sacrifice of a young boy together with patriarch Gregory of Antioch. Joh. Eph., EH 3.29 and 33, mentions that he died soon afterwards in prison under mysterious circumstances.” 2
