Anonymous 5216 - A slave of Eustochius of Jerusalem

Joh. Eph., EH 3.35, is the sole source for the violent end of Eustochius, deposed patriarch of Jerusalem. After 18 years in a monastery in Constantinople, he was killed by one of his slaves. The slave himself was caught, tortured and executed.1
