Anonymous 5235 - The magister officiorum

Joh. Eph., EH 6.19, reports that two monks, Benjamin and Samuel, were dispatched by the Roman prisoners held in Persia to Constantinople to ask for help in the late 570s. However, he complains that the anonymous magister officiorum at the time and Tiberius neglected the matter.2
