“ܟܘܪܳܐ ܗܘܳܬ ܡܶܢ ܟܘܪ̈ܐ ܕܰܚܡܶܨ. ܕܪܰܚܝܩܐ ܡܶܢܗ̇ ܫܬܳܐ ܦܰܪ̈ܣܚܐ ܠܓܰܒܐ ܕܕܰܪܡܣܘܩ. ܒܶܝܬ ܛܘܪ̈ܝ ܠܶܒܢܳܢ ܘܰܣܢܝܪ ܘܝܰܘܡܳܢ ܩܪܺܝܬܐ ܐܝܺܬܝܗ̇ ܐܶܬܚܰܕܬܰܬ ܒܓܶܒ ܓܘܣܝܗ ܥܰܬܝܩܬܐ.” 1
“كورة كانت من كور حمص على ستة فراسخ منها من جهة دمشق بين جبلي لبنان وسنير؛ وهي في وقتنا قرية استحدثت بجوار مدينة جوسية القديمة” 2
