“« قال ياقوت » كانت كحيل مدينة عظيمة على دجلة بين الزابين فوق تكريت من الجانب الغربي، اما الآن فليس لها خبر ولا اثر » وهي موطن موسى ابن كيفا العالم السرياني 903 +. ” 2
“Yaquṭ says, “Kuḥayl was a big city on the Tigris between the two Zabs, above Takrit, going southwards. Today it is no more.” Kuḥayl was the birthplace of the Syrian learned man Moses Bar Kepha (d. 903).” 3
