“ܡܢ ܒܬܪ ܡܣܩܬܗ ܕܡܪܢ ܝܫܘܥ ܕܠܫܡܝܐ: ܒܗ ܒܙܒܢܐ ܗܘܿ ܟܕ ܐܙܿܠ ܗܘ̣ܐ ܫܡܥܘܢ ܟܐܦܐ ܠܪܗܘܡܐ: ܘܐܟܪܙ ܬܡܢ ܡܠܬܐ ܕܐܠܗܐ: ܫܡܥܬ ܗܘ̣ܬ ܦܪܘܛܘܢܝܩܐ ܐܢܬܬܗ ܕܩܠܘܕܝܘܣ ܩܣܪ: ܗܘܿ ܕܥܒܕܗ ܛܒܪܝܘܣ ܬܪܝܢܐ ܒܡܠܘܬܗ: ܟܕ ܐܙܿܠ ܗܘ̣ܐ ܕܢܩܪܒ ܥܡ ܒܢܝ̈ ܐܣܦܢܝܐ ܕܡܪܕܘ ܗܘ̣ܘ ܥܠܘܗܝ.” 1
“Après l’Ascension de notre Seigneur Jésus au ciel, en ce même temps où Simon Pierre alla à Rome et y proclama la parole de Dieu, Protonice, femme de Claude César, celui que Tibère avait fait second dans son royaume quand il alla attaquer les Espagnols qui s’étaient révoltés contre lui, écouta.” 1
