“ܐܢܫ ܬܘܒ ܐܚܪܢܐ: ܕܫܡܗ ܦܟܘܡ: ܒܪ ܫܒܥܝܢ ܫܢܝ̈ܢ: ܝܬܿܒ ܗܘ̣ܐ ܒܛܘܪܐ ܕܡܬܩܪܐ ܕܫܡܗ ܐܣܩܝܛܝܣ.” 1

“Un autre, du nom de Pachôme, âgé de septante ans, vivait sur une montagne appelée Scété.” 1
