ܠܟܠܗܘܢ ܡܿܢ ܣܗ̈ܕܐ ܙܿܕܩ ܠܢ ܠܡܩܪܒܘ ܐܝܩܪܐ ܗܿܘ ܕܒܝܕ ܡ̈ܠܐ. ܡܛܠ ܕܫܥܒܕܘܗܿ ܠܬܪܥܝܬܐ ܕܒܣܪܐ ܠܗܘܢܐ ܪܝܫܢܝܐ ܘܡܠܝܠܐ ܕܢܦܫܐ. ܘܚܘܝܘ ܒܝܕ ܡܚܡܣܢܢܘܬܐ ܕܒܚܫܐ. ܕܠܐ ܡܫܥܒܕܐ ܐܝܬܘܗܝ ܘܕܠܐ ܡܪܐ ܚܘܫܒܐ ܗܿܘ ܕܒܢ. ܘܕܠܐ ܡܬܕܒܪ ܡܢ ܩܛܝܪܐ ܡܕܡ. 1
À tous les martyrs nous devons rendre honneur par des paroles, parce qu’ils ont asservi la pensée de la chair à l’intelligence première et raisonnable de l’âme et qu’ils ont montré par la patience dans la souffrance que la pensée en nous n’est pas asservie, qu’elle n’a pas de maître et qu’elle n’est dirigée par aucune contrainte. 1

Rendons donc grâce pour tout au Christ, Dieu au-dessus de tout, qui nous a accordé un tel chef et maître de la ville, de même que gardien, médecin et aide de nos supplications. À lui gloire pour les siècles. Amen. 1
