[chapt. 24] ܡܛܠ ܗܟܝܠ ܕܒܢ̈ܝܫܐ ܗܠܝܢ [ܡ̇ܢ ܡܬ]ܚܒܫܢ ܥܠܠܬ̈ܐ [ܕܚܘܠܡܙ]ܐ: ܘܓܢܣܐ ܗܢܐ ܕܗܫܐ ܥܠܘܗܝ ܐܝܬܝܗ̇ ܡܠܬܢ. ܢܬܢܐ ܐ̈ܢܝܢ ܬܘܒ ܡܢ ܕܪܝܫ. [chapt. 23] τῷ δὲ ἤτοι μηδ’ ὅλως δεομένῳ προσφερόμενον, ἢ οὐκ ἐν τῷ προσήκοντι μέτρῳ, νοσῶδες καθίσταται [chapt. 24] ταῦτα γὰρ οἰκειότερα ταῖς εὐκράτοις φύσεσιν. ὡσαύτως δὲ <κἀπὶ τῶν ἄλλων> [chapt. 28] <εἰ δὲ ψυχρότερον, οὐχ ἁπλῶς χρὴ τοσοῦτον ποιεῖν αὐτὸ ψυχρότερον, ἀλλὰ καὶ> τὴν ὕλην σκοπεῖσθαι πρότερον. εἰ μὲν γὰρ παχυμερές ἐστιν, οὐχ ὁδοιπορήσει μέχρι βάθους πολλοῦ. [chapt. 30] μαλακὸν δὲ καὶ παιδικὸν ὀστοῦν καὶ συμφῦναι δυνατόν. σπανίως δὲ καὶ ἡ <τοῦδε τοῦ πάθους γένεσις ἄνευ συμπλοκῆς>2
